Revelation 12:11 says, They overcame the devil by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
It is one thing to read the Word of God. It is another thing to believe it.
There is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus that will put to death every other thing but His Word.
It’s possible to be real, earnest, have zeal and fast, and not have faith. A small amount of the Word is worth more than crying, begging and pleading. God is much more than all of this.
He wants to enrich us with His Word to have a successful life. It is His purpose to make every believer able to subdue everything and to be whole, perfect and an overcomer in Christ.
We must get to know God through His Word. God has given us His authority to overcome. We have overcoming faith through belief in His Word.
