Stir It Up!

2 Timothy 1:6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of hands.

It says, "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift...." What gift? What is he talking about there?

God has a supernatural gift for each one of us and it's going to take a little stirring for it to come out.

We must realize that our flesh and our spirits don't stay hooked up automatically. Staying hooked will take effort on your part. Your flesh and your spirit are two separate things.

So how do you stay stirred up? How can you get God's gift and calling to the forefront of your life? By having an intimate relationship with God!

Get into His Word and find out what kind of Person He is. Get to know Him. Follow Him. Share your heart with Him.

Once you find out what kind of Friend He can be, you won't be able to contain yourself because you'll want to talk to Him and be with Him all the time.

Getting to know God is one of the best ways to keep yourself stirred up.

Now go and stay stirred!
