2 Peter 1:3 says, Everything we could ever need for life and godliness has already been deposited in us by His divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing Him who has called us by name and invited us to come to Him through a glorious manifestation of His goodness.
That’s why we can trust the Word. It’s God talking to us – having a relationship with Him – revealing Himself to us. His gift to us.
The Word has to be the final authority in our life. It’s the answer, the problem solver, the guide, the wisdom we need for life because it’s the only real truth and we can trust it.
We must accept it as truth, or it will be just another book full of stories to entertain.
The Bible speaks with one voice, has one message and gives us the plan and purpose for our life.
It doesn’t matter who you are, how young or old you are, what your status in life is, your education or lack of, whether you are rich or poor. God has a plan and a purpose for us and it comes from the Bible – His Words to us.
So, cherish the Word, hold it dear, it’s the most valuable possession we have. It’s our life source.
God gave us His own personal Word for our benefit.
The Bible is anointed words on pages – that when we believe them and apply them to our life – they work.
