Hebrews 13:15 says, “By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name.”
Sometimes it may be hard to give God thanks. Things may not be great at work, at home or with family, but they can be changed. That’s why it’s called the sacrifice of praise.
We can choose to maintain an attitude of gratitude. By practicing thankfulness, we turn on a force in our lives that is more powerful than we can imagine! We may not feel like it or think it wouldn’t do any good.
But by God, we are supernaturally enabled to offer thanksgiving at all times for what is good, regardless of the situation or the feelings of our flesh.
Equipped with God’s empowerment, thankfulness now becomes a force—a force to bless you with multiplication and increase! Continually giving God thanks for what you have, instead of focusing on what you don’t have, enlarges your capacity to receive. It positions you to experience more of God’s blessedness!
