Psalm 144:15 Happy are the people whose God is the Lord!
This month we’re going to look at how Christians can choose to be happy. As a believer we have a right to be happy. Jesus paid for it.
Our happiness is the offspring of the joy God placed in us when we were born-again. It’s part of the fruit of the spirit.
I’m not talking about a feeling that can come and go based on circumstances or how you may feel at any given moment.
I’m talking about peace and joy that works in our life because of the fruit that’s readily available to us. We can call it at any time, and it will come.
Some may say, “I can’t be happy all the time. It’s not possible.” Then you’re basing your happiness on circumstances and not on the fruit God placed in you.
We can choose to be happy because of the fruit of joy living in us. We’re God’s people we should be happy. We can be someone that is happy because our past is forgiven, we’re
satisfied with our present and unafraid of our future.
