The Experience of Joy

John 15:11 These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

You know there’s one thing the devil isn’t banking on in our lives and that’s joy during problems, joy in offence, joy during sickness, joy in financial trouble, joy in slander and joy in persecution.

He thinks if he can feed us enough bad, negative, awful trouble we’ll give into it. But we won’t.

Jesus prayed that we would experience His joy that He died for. If  God put His nature of joy in us how can we be depressed, complain, be offended, sad or mad?

Everything we have experienced, are experiencing and will experience Jesus has already experienced. He took it upon His body and His mind and paid for it.

All the sickness, disease, poverty, pain, suffering, stress, depression, confusion and crazy, it’s all paid in full by Jesus. It’s no longer for us to experience.  It’s as though it never was.
