Romans 13:7 Pay everyone whatever you owe them. If you owe taxes, pay them. If you owe tolls, pay them. If you owe someone respect, respect that person. If you owe someone honor, honor that person.
God loves us and wants to reproduce Himself in us. God is honor and He has put it in us. All we have to do is yield to the honor and respect of God, let it grow and develop in us. It is a choice to do it and to practice it.
We should want this to be evident in our life, to learn, to grow in it and be examples of honoring God in everything we do.
It’s key for the promotion God has for us. He wants to advance us, He wants to increase us, add to us, bring us to higher places, places of greater influence and ability. But how will it come? Who does He honor? Those that honor Him.
