2 Corinthians 5:17 says, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

When a man becomes a new creature in Christ, his old life has disappeared and all has become new about him. Everything in his past is forgiven, forgotten and eradicated.

As a new creature in Christ he is united to God by a living faith. He is a new creature having a new being, a new life and a new beginning.

Having this new life is what God wants for us but some Christians tend to identify with their problems instead of identifying with Jesus.

When dealing with sickness, we’re not the sick trying to get healed. We’re the healed telling sickness to go. It’s the same with finances we’re not the poor trying to get rich. We’re the rich telling poverty to go.

Jesus has paid the price for us to have a wonderful life free from the bondage that held us captive.

Don’t allow the image of the past to influence us to return to it. Choose to identify with Jesus and the victory He has given us.
