Shout Grace 19Apr2020

Good Morning Church Family,

The media has made these days we’re in right now very scary.  But Bethesda Christian Center is one voice, one heart and one mind.  We stand together as God’s family and speak to this evil and call it dead in Jesus name.

The Bible says:

We don’t have the spirit of fear, what we have is the power of the Holy Spirit, the love of God Almighty and the sound mind of Christ.  That’s what we have!

So, this is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Shout Grace

Zerubbabel was a godly governor over Judah.  The greatest challenge of his life came when King Cyrus of Persia commissioned him to oversee the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem.

Zerubbabel had been given an important task, so he wanted a word from God to do it.

The prophet Zechariah assured him:

“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts.
‘Who are you, O great mountain?
Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!
And he shall bring forth the capstone
With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” Zechariah 4:6-7

God was looking for a man who would rely upon Him for the ability and wisdom to fulfill His plan.  He was looking for availability.  God searches for those whose hearts are turned toward Him and want to please and obey Him.

God’s plans can seem overwhelming from our natural point of view.  But, we must see through the eyes of God’s Word and promise to stretch beyond our ability and draw on the resources of His ability.

God looks for the willing.  When a devoted and willing heart yields to Him, the grace to accomplish His plans will become evident.

Look at Zechariah 4:6-7 in The Living Bible:

‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,                                    says the Lord Almighty—you will succeed because of my Spirit, though you are few and weak.’ Therefore no mountain, however high, can stand before Zerubbabel! For it will flatten out before him! And Zerubbabel will finish building this Temple with mighty shouts of thanksgiving for God’s mercy, declaring that all was done by grace alone.”

God is committed to our success.  He will put within us all that’s needed to finish whatever we face.

The mountain that stands before us will become flat.  We will finish the job that God has given us and we will do it declaring that all was done by grace alone.

The Grace of God is the empowering to do the truth.  It’s God’s divine influence on our hearts and the reflection of that influence in our lives.  It’s His active power at work in us enabling us to do His will. It’s the supernatural ability that makes it possible for us to reveal through our lives in a visible way the real peace, the real power and the real presence of God.

I love you very much & will see you sooner than you think

Declaration of Peace:

I speak peace over you, the peace that only God can give.

It’s strong and confident.  It’s trustworthy and it’s God’s Truth.  You can always have it and if you don’t you can always find it.

It’s right there inside you ready to be called on to work, it’s precious and valuable.

You can have this peace while the storm rages and you think how can this be?

That peace is only found in God.  It’s supernatural the world can’t conceive it.  They try to reason it in their own mind but they just can’t make sense of it.

This is the kind of power that dwells in us, the power to overcome.  In Jesus name.
