Psalm 28:7 says, The Lord is my strength, my shield from every danger. I trust in him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

What a promise this is to us! In this verse, David trusted the Lord with all his heart. We can follow David’s example of trust and thankfulness. For all the things the Lord does for us on a daily basis, the small and the large.

We have so much to thank God for. When disappointment tries to come, just start thanking God by faith. After a few minutes, and a few things we say to thank Him, His Holy Spirit will fill us up with joy.  And that joy will start expanding in our heart.

Thank God for our family, home, friends, health, and job every day. We are to be people of thankful hearts to God every day.
