Colossians 3:14 says, "And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness."

The word charity means love. Born again Christians have the supernatural love of God. This love supersedes what someone has done to you or said to you.

This supernatural love of God's is on the inside of you. There was the old man which characterized your old nature. But now you are the new man which characterizes your new nature now that you are in Christ.

Romans 5:5 says that God's love is in the heart of every Christian. We are filled with supernatural love. On the inside, you are a love person.

Now your body may not want to love. It may want to fight. But you are not a body. You are a spirit being made in the image and likeness of God. We have the nature of God and that nature is to love.

Your mind has to be renewed to what's going on, on the inside. It will try to lead you to think bad thoughts of getting even with somebody. But on the inside of you is the nature of God. And the nature of God is to let the anger and strife go. That love is the bond of perfectness. Love is what holds your life and relationships together. And love is what makes your faith work.
