Romans 10:16-17 says, But they were not all obedient to the good tidings, for Isaiah said, `Lord, who did give credence to our report?' 17so then the faith [is] by a report, and the report through a saying of God.
There are only two choices. We can choose faith or we can choose fear. Some Christians say, I don’t want to choose fear, I just can’t help it.” That can’t be true because God gave us a free will to choose.
The definition of faith is a strong belief that’s not based on evidence. The Spirit of Faith is beyond reason or thought it’s a spirit of confidence, courage and boldness. It’s being fully persuaded that what God’s Word says will work for us. By faith we receive what God has promised. The Spirit of Faith believes the good report of God.
The definition of fear is a distressing emotion caused by impending danger, evil or pain
whether the threat is real or imagined. When the spirit of fear comes on a person they will act irrationally. If affects their mind and body. They’re capable of doing something senseless and
foolish. The spirit of fear believes the bad report of the
devil.
But it’s always our choice – faith or
fear.
Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see.
